A census-designated place (CDP) in the southern region of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Edgewater has the coordinates of 38.93722 degrees north latitude and 76.55833 degrees west longitude. Bounded by the community of Mayo to the east, Lothian to the south and Riva to the west, it is a suburb southwest of Annapolis located on the south side of the 10-mile long South River tributary. The Pier Oyster Bar & Grill is the on-site restaurant and bar at the Pier 7 Resort Marina. It is a waterfront island-themed seafood restaurant that offers its guests 15 HD TVs, signature drinks, and three bars: a mainland inside bar, a waterfront Sunset bar and an upper level Kahuna bar. There is also a white sand play area that includes its own private ship for children to play in. Live music is featured every Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.
