A census-designated place (CDP) in the southern region of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Edgewater has the coordinates of 38.93722 degrees north latitude and 76.55833 degrees west longitude. Located on Solomons Island Rd., Lee Airport is a public use airport in Edgewater, MD. Privately owned by the Lee Airport Authority, it is also home to the Navy Annapolis Flight Center – Maryland's Capitol Flight School that offers personalized one-on-one flight training. The Pier Oyster Bar & Grill is the on-site restaurant and bar at the Pier 7 Resort Marina. It is a waterfront island-themed seafood restaurant that offers its guests 15 HD TVs, signature drinks, and three bars: a mainland inside bar, a waterfront Sunset bar and an upper level Kahuna bar. There is also a white sand play area that includes its own private ship for children to play in. Live music is featured every Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.
