As a census-designated place (CDP), the neighborhood is bounded by Dennis Ave. to the northwest, University Blvd. W. and Colesville Rd. to the east, the Capital Beltway to the south and Sligo Creek Pkwy. to the west. Montgomery Blair High School

Montgomery Blair High School is a high school zoned for the community of South Four Corners. Operated by the Montgomery Public Schools System, the school is the largest public high school in Montgomery County and Maryland. Established in 1925 as Takoma Park-Silver Spring High School, it was later renamed in 1935 after Montgomery Blair – the lawyer who represented Dred Scott in the United States Supreme Court case of Dred Scott v. Sandford in 1857 and Postmaster General under President Abraham Lincoln.

As a top-rated public school, Montgomery Blair High School has an enrollment of 3,196 students. Serving grades 9th through 12th, the school has a student-to-teacher ratio of 17 to 1. It offers two magnet programs for its students: the Science, Math, and Computer Science Magnet Program and the Communication Arts Magnet Program. Montgomery Blair High has a GreatSchools rating of a 4 out of 10 and an overall Niche grade of an A-plus.

Polychrome Historic District

The Polychrome Historic District is a historic district in South Four Corners. It is located on Colesville Rd. and features a group of five houses built by architect and innovator John Joseph Earley. These houses were built in 1934 and 1935 using precast concrete panels with brightly colored aggregate to create the polychrome effect, with Art Deco architectural style details. On August 29, 1996, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

South Four Corners Park

South Four Corners Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Located on Forest Glen Rd., it is a 3.6-acre park offering a wide open space, park bench and playground. In 1946, the park was acquired by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

Argyle Local Park

Argyle Local Park is situated next to South Four Corners Park. Operated by the M-NCPPC, the park is open every day from dawn to dusk. The 8.90acre park includes amenities like a playground, softball field, multipurpose field, tennis courts, basketball courts, a picnic area, permitted ballfield, and a recreation building that provides a kitchen.

North Four Corners Local Park

North Four Corners Local Park lies just outside South Four Corners in the Northwood-Four Corners area. The 13.9 acres park is on University Blvd. W. and opens from dawn to dusk daily. It features an open field for youth soccer, football and lacrosse, two playgrounds, a basketball court, tennis courts, state-of-the-art fitness stations, paved walkways, game tables, a former Champion walnut tree and a picnic area.
