Arnold Heights is a city in Prince George's County of Maryland. It is located approximately 38.9 degrees north latitude and 76.9 degrees west longitude. The city sits 279 feet above sea level. Because it's part of the Suitland-Silver Hill area, the demographics for Arnold Heights are recorded together with the Suitland-Silver Hill census-designated place.

Things to Do

Although the city of Arnold Heights, MD is fairly small, there are two parks that serve the residents living in this area.

The Bradbury Heights Recreation Center is open from dawn to dusk. To get there, visitors can take the V12 Suitland Station, Addison Road Station K11 bus route, or the train line to the Suitland Metro Station. The center is located on Ewing Ave. Some of the amenities available at Bradbury Heights Recreation Center are a playground, seating area, picnic tables, grills, and drinking fountains. For recreational activities, there's an outdoor basketball court, a soccer and football field, and trails for cardio workouts.

The other park located in Arnold Heights is Dupont Heights Park. Similar to the Bradbury Heights Recreation Center, this park also has an outdoor basketball court, picnic tables and a playground. However, Dupont Heights Park also includes an outdoor practice wall, a tennis court, and grills.

Cedar Hill Cemetery

A historic cemetery located in the area of Arnold Heights, MD, Cedar Hill Cemetery is right next to the border of Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Visitors can find giant mausoleums, faux wood structures, abandoned buildings, unique tombstones, and chapels within the cemetery. Mexican artist Dionicio Rodriquez created the faux wood structures that are seen there. These structures include two footbridges, a table in a pergola, and an Annie Laurie Wishing Chair.
