Today, it offers classes for 9th through 12th grade students as a comprehensive science and technology magnet school. The school serves most of the City of Glendale, portions of Landover CDP and Summerfield CDP, all of Lake Arbor CDP and Springdale CDP, and most of Mitchellville CDP and Woodmore CDP. As of the 2018 and 2019 school year, it has a total enrollment of 2,186 students.
Ardmore Park Building is a neighborhood recreation center in Springdale. Owned and managed by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), it is open Mondays through Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The center features recreation opportunities such as a baseball and softball field, football and soccer field, open space, trails, outdoor basketball court, tennis court, outdoor practice wall, horseshoe pits. General park amenities include a playground, restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables and grills.
