Woodward Square is a neighborhood in the Essex area of Maryland. Part of Baltimore County, it is located near the communities of Middlesex, Aero Acres and Middle River. Saint Clare Church is one of two churches in the neighborhood of Woodward Square. The Roman Catholic community of St. Clare Church is based on the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ and united in tradition. They strive to spread the message of the Gospel through active participation in worship and faith formation of children to adults. Located on Myrth Ave., it is open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, from 4 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Sundays. On Fridays, the church is closed.
Church of the Harbor is a baptist church on Mace Ave., in Woodward Square. Its mission is to declare truth and display love so that people could become devoted followers of Jesus. Events hosted at the church include Sunday Gathering, Community Group, Pancake Breakfast, Service Live Stream, Community Cookout, Holiday Gatherings, Maryland March for Life, Friendly Coffee House, Sunday Bible Study, Leadership Council, Carnivals, and many more.
