The shopping center consists of a Walmart Supercenter, Sam's Club, Kohl's, AT&T Store, Chick-fil-A, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, Walgreens, Woodforest National Bank and Lowe's Home Improvement.

Queenstown Rosenwald School

The Queenstown Rosenwald School is a historical landmark of Anne Arundel County. It is located on Queenstown Rd. near the Quarterfield Crossing Shopping Center. As one of the schools established from the Rosenwald School project, the school was built in 1932 for the education of African-American children in the South.

Queenstown Rosenwald School was initially known as Sunnyside School. It was a plain, one-story, frame building that contained two classrooms and a library., In 1966 the school closed down and became the Queenstown Community Center. It now caters to the community of Alberta Heights and the Severn CDP. In 2009, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
