Acresville has the geographic coordinates of 39.1778861 degrees north latitude and 76.611355 degrees west longitude and an elevation of 39 feet above sea level.

The main roads serving this neighborhood are Governor Ritchie Hwy., E Furnace Branch Rd., and Arundel Expy. Most of the homes in Acresville are valued from $200,000 to $350,000. They are zoned for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Systems. Families with children in this area attend Point Pleasant Elementary School, Marley Middle School and Glen Burnie High School.

Furnace Creek

Furnace Creek is a bay near Glen Burnie. The west end of the bay, where it merges with Sawmill Creek, is located in the north part of Acresville. Residents of the neighborhood and its surrounding area often come to this portion of the bay for recreational fishing. The most popular species caught in this area are Green sunfish and Common carp.

Glen Haven Memorial Park

Located south of Acresville, on Ritchie Hwy Suite E, is the Glen Haven Memorial Park. The 86 acres cemetery was established in 1939 with thematic gardens and unique statue features. Paint Splatter of Maryland is a painting studio located in Acresville, on Azar Ave. It is only open on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Offering fun and unique experiences for people of all ages, the studio allows visitors to create works of art from a variety of painting supplies, regular and neon paint, black and white canvas, and a blacklight room. You have the option to splatter paint on the canvases or everywhere else like the tables, walls and floor.

Paint Splatter of Maryland caters to parties, date nights, family fun, team building, youth groups, and bachelor and bachelorette parties. A semi private party costs $75 for one hour and $125 for two hours. For a private party, it costs $150 for one hour and $275 for two hours. If you are alone, a regular splatter paint session costs $25 per person for 25 minutes. It'll cost $35 per person for the blacklight splatter paint one.

Bowl America Glen Burnie

Situated in front of Paint Splatter of Maryland, Bowl America Glen Burnie is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The only Bowl America in the Baltimore, Maryland, area, this bowling alley features open bowling, cosmic bowling and bowling leagues. Families, friends and individuals come to Bowl America Glen Burnie for lights out, laser beams, music blasts, and pins light up.

The bowling alley offers catering for birthday parties, Bar Mitzvahs, corporate parties, holiday parties, team-building events, anniversaries, and bachelor and bachelorette parties. During the summer, Bowl Americ Glen Burnie also offers Summer Blast Pass that allows students from Kindergarten to 12th grade two bowling games every week.
