About Stansbury Park

Stansbury Park is a 35-acre recreational park in the Dundalk area of Baltimore County, Maryland. Located at the intersection of Stansbury Park Rd. and Hydrangea Rd., the park was established in 1974. Before its land was acquired by the county, it was used as a riding academy and horse farm. Today the waterfront family-friendly recreation center offers amenities such as the following:

• Batting cages
• Two playgrounds
• Ballfields
• Walking trails
• Views of Lynch Cove
• A large scenic pond with a fishing pier (Stansbury Park Pier)
• Community gardens

It's a great area for residents and visitors to come to relax, have a picnic or take a walk around the water. Interestingly, a special feature of Stansbury Park is their red, white and blue benches that are situated throughout the area.

Surrounding Communities

Stansbury Park is surrounded by Lynch Cove and many smaller neighborhoods of Dundalk. Some of the neighborhoods include Stanbrook and Eastfield. Homes in the area immediately to the left of the park (Stanbrook) have values ranging from $150,000 to $220,000. These townhouses typically feature two to three bedrooms and one to two bathrooms. The area is part of the Baltimore County Public Schools District. Schools zoned for students living in the community are Grange Elementary School, General John Stricker Middle School, and Patapsco High & Center for Arts.

Home in Eastfield – the area north and northwest of Stansbury Park – have a real estate listing price of around $120,000. Like Stanbrook, most of the homes are townhouses; however, there are the occasional single-family homes. These homes include two to four bedrooms and one to two bathrooms.
