Riviera Beach is a neighborhood in Pasadena, Maryland. A census-designated place (CDP) of Anne Arundel County, smaller communities situated in it include:
Neighborhoods in close proximity to the CDP are Altoona Beach, Green Haven, Aspen Park and Ashburn. Riviera Beach has a total area of 3.2 square miles. 2.6 square miles of which is land, and 0.58 square miles is water. The neighborhood is bounded by two tidal inlets of the Patapsco River, Stoney Creek to the northwest and Rock Creek to the southeast.
The name Riviera Beach is not pronounced the same way it is spelled. Native to the area pronounce it as "revere," like in Paul Revere, and "uh." Some people who live around the area and on the waterfront of the neighborhood also call it "The Beach." Other nicknames for Riviera Beach are " Pasadena's Premier Waterfront Community" and "Gods Country."
Rock Creek Park is a neighborhood park on Bar Harbor Rd. Managed by the Anne Arundel County Recreation & Parks, it is open from dawn to dusk. The park is one of the spaces in Riviera Beach that offers recreational activities to its residents and visitors. Park amenities provided at Rock Creek Park are four baseball fields, basketball courts, one multi-purpose field, picnic area, playground, paved and natural trails, water access and restrooms.
Down the street from Rock Creek Park is Sunset Park – a neighborhood park that's also operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks. Located on Fort Smallwood Rd., it is open from sunrise to sunset. The amenities offered at the park are two baseball fields, a multi-purpose field, a picnic area, trails and restrooms.
Blake's Bar Harbor Marina is a little marina in the community of Bar Habor in Riviera Beach. It was purchased in 2005 by well-known home builder Ed Blake and his wife Diane Blake, a successful real estate broker in Pasadena. By water, a short boat ride can take you to the Chesapeake Bay. A 15 minute one can take you to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, and a 35 minute one to Downtown Annapolis. The marina offers the following:

Pine Grove Shopping Center can be found across the street from Sunset Park. A shopping area for locals in the neighborhood, it features a number of shops and restaurants. Tenants occupying the center are Chopstix, Dollar General, Charles Mason, Douglas Realty, Bay Area Computers and Hobbies, and sand & silo marketplace.
Besides the Pine Grove Shopping Center, there are many other businesses scattered around the neighborhood. This especially refers to the local restaurants, bars and eateries in the area. Visitors and residents have the option to choose from Stoney Creek Inn, Pit Stop Pub, El Pilar, Jimmy T's, Beefalo Bob's, Primo Pasta Kitchen, Lucky House, Second Alarm Brewhouse and The Nautical Lounge.
