Who we are
Blank Kim Injury Law was founded by Aaron Blank and Robert Kim, who between them cover the two halves of this work: the catastrophic medical negligence and birth injury cases that turn on records and physician testimony, and the collision and premises claims where an insurer is betting you will take the first offer.
They are joined by attorneys Kayla DiNuccio and James Patrick Jordan. Four attorneys is a deliberate size. It is large enough to try a case properly and small enough that the person handling yours knows your name.
Where we practice
We work across Maryland from five offices, in Frederick, Ellicott City, Baltimore, Silver Spring, Annapolis. Four of them are open 24 hours, and someone answers the phone at any hour, including nights and weekends, because the call after a serious injury rarely comes during business hours.

In your own language
Attorney Robert Kim is fluent in Korean and works with Korean-speaking clients directly, in Korean, from the first call to the end of the case. Most of our paralegals speak Spanish.
This matters more than it sounds. An injury claim turns on precise descriptions of pain, symptoms and sequence, and those details get flattened when a family member is translating. It also means an insurer cannot take advantage of a language gap.
How we work
- We investigate early. Camera footage, vehicle data and site evidence are routinely gone within days, long before any legal deadline.
- We prepare cases as though they will be tried. An insurer treats a file that is ready for court differently from one that is not.
- We explain things in plain language, including the parts that are not good news.
- We will tell you when we do not think a claim can be proven. A case that collapses two years in costs you more than an honest answer at the start.
The case review is free and carries no obligation. If we take your case, we work on a contingency fee: no fee unless we recover money for you. We advance the case costs and are repaid only from a recovery, so if there is no recovery you owe us nothing. The agreement is in writing before you sign anything.
