West End Park is a neighborhood located in the Rockville area of Maryland. Dating back to 1912, it is bounded by the neighborhood of Woodley Gardens to the north, Rockville to the east, New Mark Commons to the south and Rockshire to the west. Monument Park is open every day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Located on the corner of Monument St. and Maryland Ave., it serves the residents of West End Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. The park is 8.1 acres and features amenities such as rock art, baseball and softball field, basketball court, bleachers, drinking fountains, grills, park benches and shelter, picnic tables, and a playground. Restrooms offered at the park can only be accessed with permits.

The recreation center offers two indoor and three outdoor pools, a hot tub, a sauna, an exercise room, classes and personal training. Access to the pool costs $6 for adult residents and $7 for non-residents. For access to the entire center, it is $7 and $8, respectively. Access for children costs $5 for residents and $6 for non-residents. Full center access costs $6 and $7. The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
